Usually when i take a town its kinda low prosperity, wheras for profitabillety sake workshops are best owned in high prosperity towns. In time though, as i build up prosperity and a good governor he might get that perk that gives a bonus to workshop production trough him, at which point one immagines it can be slightly more profitable to have it in youre own town.

The absolute best armors are the Imperial Heavy scale armor over mail hauberk 57/20/16 armor, the sturgian 54 armor helmets, the battanian scale gloves 25 and boots 26, the best shoulders are the aserai bronze scale something pauldrons 20/12 (or the battanian scale shoulders with 20/10 as its so much lighter), and for horse the cataphract scale barding 75 armor.
