The original tagging build when Silverwastes were released. Still works great. Also can use the mortar to tag large groups of enemies far away. Mirage (Mesmer): Greatsword Farmer. Uses the insanely long range and low cooldown Greatsword beam of the Mesmer. Also usually works targetet using the Action cam.
Condi Virtuoso (Mesmer) Image: ArenaNet via HGG/Tyler Locke. Virtuoso is the End of Dragons elite specialization for the Mesmer. Instead of creating clones, Virtuosos create hovering blades which they fire at enemies. As of right now, Condi Virtuoso is one of the best DPS class builds, if not the best, in GW2.

Thief with primarily Deadeye as the main reason. I am glad Anet finally added a class that fits my play-style. In all the games I play, I gravitate towards the stealth long range fighters ( Loki with Dex Syberis, Infiltrator in ME franchise, infiltrator PS2, and many more).
Revenant, Ranger, Guardian, Mesmer, Necromancer and Warrior are the class that have group synergic build. In fractal Guardian and Revenant are pretty popular, but it really depend on the group. Elementalist, Thief and Engineer are good profession, but they don't provide as much buffs for the group.
